Events and Festivals
There are a variety of organisations in the area which have events and activities throughout the year.
Our own MVCP events brochure for 2010 is now available to download from this website and we have a variety of guided walks, bat walks, educational wildlife days and other activities to help you enjoy and learn about the wildlife in and around the Medway area. The Maidstone River Festival is the town’s biggest entertainment event. It celebrates Kent’s county town and its greatest natural asset – the River Medway. Held in July, last year the festival celebrated its 30th anniversary, since the first festival was in 1980. It's still just as popular as ever.
