East Farleigh Bridge
The 14th century ragstone bridge crossing the river in East Farleigh is considered to be the oldest bridge in Kent. This Bridge is mentioned in 1324 when an inquiry into who was responsible for its maintenance was held. It is 11.5 ft wide, this makes it particularly unsuitable for modern traffic. East Farleigh Bridge is most well known for the location of a battle in the Civil war in 1648 .
