Barming
With a population of just over 2000 people, Barming is a civil parish located to the west of Maidstone. The River Medway marks the southern boundary of the parish.
The village was mentioned in the Doomsday Book and was described as being in two parts, East and West Barming, the latter being known as Little Barming.
